Benefits Of Drupal

Scalable: Drupal can manage the most important sites with the highest traffic in the world. Sites experiencing daily traffic like Weather.com, and sites experiencing periodic spikes in traffic like Grammy.com, all use Drupal for ensuring scalability as traffic and content grows.

Flexible: Drupal can create and manage a wide range of content types. It included videos, blogs, polls, podcasts and statistics. This feature helps Drupal to enable a flexible design platform to build websites that have rich content. Drupal, also, has capabilities to design, like editing, which helps create both complicated and straightforward web page configurations.

Customizable: Along with being flexible, Drupal is highly customizable. It possesses over 16,000 modules and plug-ins. Drupal allows users to modify, adjust, and implement an endless wealth of additional custom features into the websites, like CRM, security, social media and SEO.

Responsive: Drupal helps you build responsive sites and also build applications that deliver optimal visitor experiences, irrespective of what device they are on. It supports best design practices and ensures your users a seamless content experience every time, on every device.

Easy Integration: Drupal can easily integrate with a broad ecosystem of digital marketing technology and other business applications. Hence, you can use the best set tools today, and flex with new tools in the future. Drupal’s API-first focus means connecting content to other sites and applications, making content powerful.

Security: The annual Drupal security report points out that “there have been no widely exploited vulnerabilities in Drupal core for which there was no upgrade available at the time of public disclosure.” The CMS is highly secure, and it offers regular patches, safeguarding from exploits

Easy-to-Use Tools: Drupal has essential tools for content creation and publishing. Authentication and permissions for managing editorial workflows and content are a plus. Authors, publishers, site admins and developers. All go for Drupal to fulfil their requirements, with a workflow that offers them sufficient access to the features they need.

Flexible Content Architecture: You can create the correct architecture using the Admin interface. It displays only the content appropriate for each context with powerful display mode tools and views. With Drupal, you can include a variety of media types, with customizable menus, creating comfortable user experience.

Multiple Site Management: Drupal helps you manage various websites across your organization, brands, geographies and campaigns on a single platform that allows quick, easy site creation and deployment.

Multilingual: You can architect and configure Drupal to deliver sites to any global, multilingual audience as an apart of your localization strategy. You can easily create and manage websites for different regions and geographies, and support one to many languages across all of your sites.

Community: Drupal is an open-source CMS. Open Source is not only a licensing option but also an approach towards technology that involves a free exchange of ideas and innovation. The open-source community provides extensive public documentation, well-developed discussion boards, chat and mailing lists, along with an air of approachable online culture.

Drupal Developer Jobs

There has always been debate around job titles and skills in the Drupal domain. There are three main areas of expertise in Drupal include site building, backend/module development, and theming. The different regions demand different skill sets.

Drupal Site Builder:

A Drupal Site Builder is the one who builds Drupal sites with point and click in the admin UI without writing too many custom codes. Most of the functionality of the site/application comes from configuring Drupal core and peer modules. Site Builders have competent experience in working with a wide range of contributed modules. They understand the limitations of modules and can provide a concise argument of the pros and cons of various solutions. Site Builders build content types, and taxonomy, navigation; image presets, rules etc. A stand-out feature of Drupal is that it does not exclude non-developers. The Drupal community and the platform provides a very powerful toolset for people to build innovative, unique and sophisticated sites without being a programmer.

Drupal Themer, Frontend Developer:

A Drupal Themer is a specialist front end developer, who is expert in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, along with Drupal theme layer. He must be able to take designs and turn them into working themes. He needs to be well versed in implementing responsive design.

Drupal Module Development, Back-end Developer:

A Drupal developer writes a lot of PHP and other server-side languages. He writes custom modules, conducts automated tests, consumes web services and automates deployment. He is also a backend Drupal developer.

Other Drupal Job Roles Include Sysadmin/Devops, QA, Project Manager/Scrum Master, Product Owner And Design/UX.
